QA Engineer October 2016 - July 2017

As a QA Engineer at Lever, I work primarily on cross-functional project teams to help deliver quality software to our customers. Some of my main activities are to:
- Write and execute detailed test plans for manual testing of new development projects
- Actively contribute to the automation framework in an efficient way so that the framework will be scalable and maintainable
- Investigate/document bugs and contribute to prioritization of feature requests
- Organize bug bashes – a directed, cross-functional testing session to ensure confidence in our product launches
- Continue to evolve QA practices and processes into our SDLC

QA Engineer July 2015 - August 2016

As the first QA Engineer at Earnest it has been my primary focus to create a strong foundation of quality within the organization:
- Build robust smoke and regression test suites run in CI
- Expand test coverage to include mobile web, web and native iOS versions
- Introduce best testing practices to our agile workflow

Community Involvement

Hackbright, Mentor September 2015 ­ present

Serve as a career mentor to a fellow going through the 10­week intensive coding bootcamp. My role is to support the fellow as they build an app for their final project, to share interview techniques and assist with job searching

Acted as a mentor to oversee my team of 6 high school girls build a mobile Android application. Helped to explain concepts such as Lean Thinking, prototyping and implementing agile development practices
